  1. 1. Describe the method used by the author of the study.

The study used is a systematic literature search. The author included 12 articles from scientific databases such as CINAHL, PubMed, EMBASE, and MEDLINE.

    2. Discuss the limitations of the article: limited sample size, design flaws, and/or author bias.

The authors mentioned the lack of published results related to patients' outcomes and also a lack of implementation of psychosocial assessments. This hinders the ability of caregivers to be able to deliver an efficient holistic patient-centered care.

  2. Describe the method used by author of the study

-A systemic literature search was initiated using CINAHL,EMBASE,MEDLINE and PubMed databases. The search included adults 18 years and above published from 2012-2017, ensuring titles and abstract relevant to both incontinence, skin damage and psychological factors.Titles are sorted till a total of 12 articles met the criteria and were included in literature review

Discuss the limitations of article: limited sample size, design flaws and /or author bias

-The author mentioned that IAD literature remain focused on wound and skin injury and lack of implementation of psycho social assessment. The authors recommend greater patient involvement and assessment of psycho social factors in future research. Understanding holistic assessment helps improve clinician's knowledge on wound care treatments

  3. This was a systematic literature search of databases which ended in a review of 12 articles.
The scope of this article review is very limited as it reports that few mentions of IAD impact on patient well being were generalized. There is a lack of results which discuss the psychosocial impact on patients as it shows literature only highlights the physical impact of IAD.

  4. Describe the method used by the author of the study.
The study was done using multiple data sites, such as Embase, Medline, Cinahl, and PubMed databases, using a comprehensive search strategy based on keywords and headings such as incontinence, and psychology-related terms such as Boolean "AND" Function. Also included was criteria of adults 18 years and older, and published from 2012-2017. This pulled 12 total articles that met the criteria for the literature review.

Discuss the limitations of the article: limited sample size, design flaws, and/or author bias
The limitations regarding this study was that the author himself mentions that the lack of publish results related to patient outcomes, also lacked implementations of psychosocial assessments, this hinders the ability of being able to deliver efficient holistic patient care.

  5. The study was carried out through a systemic literature search of websites such as CINAHL, Embase, Medlinne, and PubMed to see if there was a correlation with well-being and incontinence associated dermatitis. 12 Articles were selected in this review. This study is limited in that the author himself stated that the only few mentions of IAD's impact on well-being were generalized. Thus, there was no accurate or detailed depiction of the impact, whether that be psychosocially or with detailed patient reporting.

  6. Describe the method used by the author of the study.
1). The authors used a systematic literature search utilizing CINAHL, EMBASE, MEDLINE, and PubMed databases. 12 articles were chosen, utilizing search headings and keywords including "incontinence" and psychology-related terms. 25 articles were selected, and then winnowed down to include only those who mentioned quality of life. The final selection were 12 articles.

Discuss the limitations of the article: limited sample size, design flaws, and/or author bias.
2). The limited sample size proved to be an issue in drawing conclusions. While the literature selected included references to quality of life, the conclusions lacked evidence that connected incontinence associated dermatitis to emotional wellbeing. This could be due to the limited sample size: the articles selected only included ones referencing adults over the age of 18, that were written in English and were full text. Perhaps a larger pool of articles would have resulted in a clearer connection between IAD and well-being.

  7. Describe the method used by the author of the study.

The study implemented a systematic literature search using Embase (EBSCOhost), Medline (Ovid), CINAHL (EBSCO), and PubMED databases to narrow down 12 articles that explored the link between wellbeing and incontinence-associated dermatitis (IAD)

Discuss the limitations of the article: limited sample size, design flaws, and/or author bias

A limitation of the study was that the author noted that there was a lack of implementation of psychosocial assessment related to IAD patients. More research is needed to explore IAD patient experience, emotional response and positive coping strategies which would help improve clinician understanding and patient outcomes.

  8. Describe the method used by the author of this study.
The method of this study was done, by doing a systematic literature search using Embase, Medline, Cinahl, and PubMED to narrow down 12 articles using keywords such as "Incontinence" and "Psychology" terms. Out of 25 articles, they narrowed the search further when using the term "Quality of Life", and were able to select 12 articles linking between wellbeing and incontinence-associated dermatitis.

Discuss the limitations of the article: Limited sample size, design flaws, and/or author bias
The study itself was limited, and even noted by the author due to the lack of implementations of psychosocial assessments related to the dermatitis. More research is needed to actually gather and explore patients responses and coping strategies to help improve the patient outcomes.

  9. Describe the method used by the author of this study.
The authors of this study, used a systematic literature search method. To this a systemic search was done initiated using multiple online data bases such as CINAHL, PubMed, EMBASE, and MEDline. In this search they used keywords and criteria such as adults 18 years and above, data from 2012-2017, keywords such as "Incontinent" and "Psychology" to narrow it down to 12 Articles. To analyze and gather data for its literature review.

Discuss the limitations of the article: Limited Sample Size, Design Flaws, and/ Or author Bias
Because this was a systematic literature review, it's data is very limited, as its gathering all its information from old sources and not current up to date data. Without having new data, the results would be inconclusive, and its lack of results even has the author mention the lack of publish results related to patient outcomes to have a concise result.
